Hello, my nameis Christopher. I was born and raised in the island of Guam. Ijoined the US Army in 1985 in hopes of traveling all over the world.Throughout my childhood years, I have always wondered what lies beyondthe horizon to the east, not knowing that I would end up meeting peoplefrom all over the world.

Duringmy extensive career in the military, I am proud to say that I have metpeople from all corners of the globe, whether they are soldiers whojoined or civilian contractors who work side by side with the military. The main positive quality that I have learned is people from differentcultures, race, religion, and gender CAN work together. The key for every mission is “Team work.” Each person isrelied upon by the person to your left and your right. With great “Team work” anything ispossible.
However, another critical part of “Team work” is having agreat “Leader.” A leader that is focused in ensuring themission is successful. These two qualities are proven successful timeafter time throughout the military. They can also be used in our dailylives; whether at home or in business to meet a common goal.
Duringmy travels, whether stateside or overseas, much still needs to be donein regards to creating a successful and safe future for our children. In order for our children to have a successful future, WE have to start TODAY! As individuals we owe it to them, because whatever we do today - good or bad - willaffect their tomorrow.
Oursuccess lies on EDUCATION! While education teaches you the skills required for a particular job, it can alsoprovide you with the knowledge in starting a business. Education starts at home, learning different values and how to respect others in orderto gain respect. Throughout our lives, we are taught the meaning of “Team work” and what ittakes to be a great “Leader.”
Inclosing, I call all of you to join me in collaboration to “make thisworld a better place” for our children’s future. Remember, if one person can make adifference, imagine the impact if WE work collectively.
Sincerely,

Christopher Aguon
